CDA Resources & Tutorials
CDA Resources and Tutorials
Attention! The CDA Process is changing.
The Council for Professional Recognition has announced the arrival of CDA 2.0 on June 1, 2013. The CDA 2.0 credentialing process will soon strengthen Candidates’ professional development experience while also streamlining it, making it easier for them to understand and navigate.
The CDA Resources and Tutorials will be phased out. We have changed the username and password for the Resources and Tutorials in order to be sure that each student is aware that the information in the Resources and Tutorials will not be valid for the CDA 2.0 process. If you are submitting your application to the CDA Council AFTER June 1, you should NOT follow the instructions in the Resources and Tutorials for preparing your Professional Resource Porfolio.

Be sure to check your email, including your junk or
spam folder for the reply.
New students that enroll in the CDA training will not be enrolled in the CDA Resources and Tutorials. Instead new CDA students will have the option of enrolling in the Successful Professional Resource Program with SchoolChapters for the reduced registration of $28.00 (Gold $99).
The Council of Professional Recognition will accept Professional Resource Portfolios, and applications done under the original process through December 31, 2013.

The CDA tutorials are intended to provide you with the guidance and information that you will need to successfully complete the whole CDA process. The tutorials are separate from the training, an additional service that has been added on to support your progress in the CDA Credential process. The tutorials are not part of the 120 hours of training. The username and password that you have been provided with for the CDA training will also work to access the tutorials.
Here is how you can utilize the tutorials:
Click on the "Click Here to Sign In" button and follow the instructions through the tutorials, use the arrow button on the bottom right side of each page to proceed through the tutorials. Complete the training components as instructed in the tutorials. This is the recommended way to use the tutorials and complete the CDA process.
Dive right into completing the 120 hours of training and just use the tutorials menu to find the information or resources that you need to complete the steps in the CDA process. This option is only suggested if you are familiar with the CDA process, have a CDA advisor, or have support at work helping you through the CDA process.
